Prerequisites: NAR or current registry, current Mantoux, current BCA

Electives (one or more to be completed prior to enrollment in Acute Care): TMA; CPR; EAD; First Aid; First Responder; Medical Terminology

Placement and Career Path
Acute Care Nursing Assistant training is another step on the Health Care Career ladder and prepares students who are already on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry to access opportunities for employment in a hospital setting.  Hospitals otherwise require experience in a long-term care facility and special training.
