Takoda’s health and human services training programs are designed to help you get the skills needed to quickly enter in-demand jobs in healthcare and social services. Our intimate class sizes and caring instructors ensure that you are learning in a supportive and career-focused environment.

Training is offered at no cost to students and our career counselors will help you find employment once you graduate.

Medical Office Administration thumb

Medical Office Administration

This three-month program trains students for a range of entry-level positions in healthcare administration. You will be prepared for jobs working in patient registration, insurance verification, electronic health records, and HIPAA certification.

In the Medical Office Administration program, students will gain the skills needed for entry-level roles in healthcare administration. The three-month program covers patient registration, insurance verification, electronic health records (EHR), medical office procedures, and HIPAA compliance. Students learn how to manage patient information accurately, support healthcare providers, and maintain confidentiality in a medical office setting.

There is no cost to enroll in this program. No prior healthcare or administrative experience is required, making it ideal for students who are interested in starting a career in healthcare administration.

This program prepares students for entry-level healthcare administration positions such as medical office assistant, patient services representative, or front desk coordinator. The skills and certifications gained, including HIPAA training, help students become job-ready and open the door to long-term career growth in the healthcare field.

Phlebotomy

This three-month program will train students to draw blood in clinical and lab settings. Students will learn the basics of blood draws, biological waste management, and medical terminology.

In the Phlebotomy program, students will be trained to safely and accurately draw blood in clinical and laboratory settings. The three-month program covers blood collection techniques, biological waste management, infection control, patient safety, and basic medical terminology. Students gain hands-on skills needed to work effectively in healthcare environments.

There is no cost to enroll in this program. No prior healthcare experience is required. The program is designed for students who are interested in entering the healthcare field and receiving hands-on clinical training.

The Phlebotomy program prepares students for entry-level roles such as phlebotomy technician in hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and blood donation centers. The skills gained allow students to quickly enter the healthcare workforce and build a foundation for further career advancement in medical and clinical fields.

Case Management

Learn how to provide comprehensive case management services to individuals who need support to move ahead. You will learn best practices for serving people with barriers and be introduced to the tools and knowledge needed to help advance your clients’ goals.

In the Case Management program, students learn how to provide comprehensive support services to individuals who need assistance moving forward. The course covers best practices for serving people with barriers, client assessment, goal setting, service coordination, documentation, and professional communication. Students are introduced to the tools and knowledge needed to help clients advance toward their personal, educational, or employment goals.

There is no cost to enroll in this program. No prior experience in social services or case management is required. The program is designed for individuals who are interested in helping others and building a career in human services.

The Case Management program prepares students for entry-level roles such as case manager assistant, client services coordinator, or human services support specialist. The skills gained are valuable in social services, workforce development, nonprofit organizations, and community-based programs, providing a strong foundation for career growth in helping professions.
