American Indian OIC is a nationally recognized career coaching service based in South Minneapolis. Our coaches work with you one-on-one to help you enter, reenter, or advance in the workforce. Services are tailored to your individual needs, and we proudly support people from all backgrounds and walks of life—including those experiencing barriers, those rebuilding after major life changes, and anyone who simply wants to improve their life and move forward in their career.

What is career counseling and how can it help me?

Career counseling provides guidance to help you set employment goals, create a career plan, and access resources for job readiness and placement.

Yes, career counseling is offered as part of the WIN and YES programs.
Sessions include goal setting, resume building, job search strategies, and identifying training opportunities.
For YES participants: three initial meetings, then every two weeks. For WIN participants: based on your individual plan.

Yes! Counselors assist with job development, employer connections, and placement support.

You must complete the program intake process and provide required documentation.
YES participants planning to take classes must complete the TABE assessment.
Support continues during enrollment and includes follow-ups for up to one year after exit.
