Takoda’s short-term training programs are designed to help you get the skills and credentials needed to quickly enter in-demand jobs in construction, transportation, warehousing, and logistics. Our intimate class sizes and caring instructors ensure that you are learning in a supportive and career-focused environment. Training is offered at no cost to students and our career counselors will help you find employment once you graduate.
Become certified to operate the small equipment found on construction sites and in warehouses. In just three weeks, you will learn how to operate skid steer loaders, compact excavators, forklifts, utility vehicles, and boom lifts. Students will also be able to attain their OSHA-10 hour certification.

In the Warehouse program, students will learn to safely operate small equipment commonly used on construction sites and in warehouses. In just three weeks, the program covers operation of skid steer loaders, compact excavators, forklifts, utility vehicles, and boom lifts. Students also receive training in workplace safety and can earn their OSHA-10 hour certification.
There is no cost to enroll in this program. No prior experience is required, making it ideal for students who want hands-on training in equipment operation and workplace safety.
This program prepares students for entry-level positions in warehouses, construction, and material handling, such as equipment operator, warehouse associate, or logistics support. The OSHA certification and hands-on skills make students job-ready and provide a foundation for career advancement in industrial and construction fields.
This six-week program prepares students for testing for either their Class A or Class B Commercial Drivers’ Permit. Once the permit is attained, Takoda staff will help you find a job in the field or guide you to Class A or B behind-the-wheel completion.

In this six-week program, students will learn the knowledge and skills required to pass the written test for a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s Permit (CDL). The course covers vehicle operation, safety regulations, road rules, and basic commercial driving principles. After obtaining the permit, students can continue training with Takoda for behind-the-wheel instruction.
There is no cost to enroll in this program. Students should meet the basic requirements for a commercial driver’s permit, such as age and a valid driver’s license, but no prior commercial driving experience is required.
This program prepares students for entry-level commercial driving positions such as truck driver, delivery driver, or bus operator. Earning a Class A or B permit, combined with behind-the-wheel training, helps students quickly enter the transportation industry and provides a path for career advancement in commercial driving.
